Wow!! What an AMAZING place, some of the best food I’ve ever had. The chicken and waffles are even more amazing than they sound. The burger was phenomenal!Cocktails were fabulous.The service and staff was top notch, going above and beyond!If you’re looking for a place to eat in Miami, this is a must!

Haven’t been to Yardbird in about five years when I was in Miami with my wife for vacation. Returned to South Beach last week for work and knew Yardbird was on my foodie spots to hit.Just like it was before…this place never disappoints. My colleague and I arrived and were greeted with a smile and were seated immediately.The staff was professional, friendly, and polite. And the food, of course, was amazing! I had a biscuit to start and chicken & waffles for my main meal. The chicken was cooked perfectly, crunchy, and loved the side watermelon. (Syrup and hot sauce are so good too). My colleague had chicken & biscuits, a salad, and a few cocktails. He was raving about his meal and drinks all night.I highly recommend stopping by Yardbird for some incredible comfort food in South Beach. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Incredible burger. This was a thick and juicy pattie with a great crust and well chosen condiments in a soft but solid bun. The fries were tasty with a good amount of crunch. Despite being delivered, the burger was warm on arrival and only a small part of the bun had soaked, which is really spectacular given how juicy it was. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a great burger in the Miami area.*Update – also ate on site and was just as good!

Great place for meeting up with friends/family. Plenty of seating – indoors & outdoors. Love the amount of light that is allowed to come into the room, without it heating up the place – still comfortable.Service is very good. Lots of menu items, with their own unique twist. I really like the deviled eggs – the smoked salmon roe is a nice touch (portion size is more than you think – can be easily divided & shared among a group)

Flashy though it may be, Miami is still a part of the American South: the region that spawned fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, pretty much fried anything. One need only venture a few steps off Lincoln Road to try these comfort food staples, all of them made from scratch and most of it sourced locally. The buzz surrounding Yardbird has been deafening since its birth in 2011 (plans to expand the concept to New York City and Las Vegas are currently in the works). At the center of this publicity maelstrom? Yardbird’s now-famous fried chicken—a recipe that takes 27 hours to prepare and can be ordered up as a slider (Mama’s Chicken Biscuits) or on a plate (Llewellyn’s Fine Fried Chicken). Wash it down with a whiskey-based house cocktail (Blackberry Lemonade—made with lemon juice, organic blackberries, cardamom and sparkling wine—is a customer favorite).
