Family members stopped in and ordered ribs and 2 brisket tacos. They enjoyed their entrees. They brought back 4 ribs and a queso brisket sauce with tortilla chips. All tasted great and I look forward to visiting this place when I’m in the area

The Frito Pie was great! Good amount of meat, cheese, and Fritos. We also got a side of slaw, 1/2 lbs of brisket, and 1/2 lbs of pork ribs. Brisket was very good. Fast service and friendly staff. Good music inside with tall ceilings and nice natural light.

Everything on this plate was great , with confidence I can say this is some of the best BBQ I’ve had in miami. Top 5 in my mind. It’s pretty rare to find authentic smoked BBQ in South Florida, you typically see cookie cutter spots like sonny’s or shorty’s where there are no unique qualities or any worthy dishes in my eyes. This place is pretty unique, truly worth checking out if you want some great authentic Texas style BBQ.

HELL YES. 10/10 would recommend The service was phenomenal! Im sad I that I can’t remember the waiters name but he was great! The atmosphere there was so cool. We tried literally every appetizer on the menu and they were all great, not one was lackluster! The baked beans were something you just wanted to dive into and cuddle up amongst the beans! The Frito Pie was outstanding, so tasty, so many flavors that all worked together. The ribs were hands down, without a doubt, the best ribs that I have ever had! (Sorry Dad, he would be rolling in his grave if he heard I had better ribs than his!) but they were so different and delicious! I live in WV where I cannot get anything like this, so I will be craving this until my next visit to FL. When I most certainly will be making this place one of my first stops!

This is the BEST barbecue I’ve ever had. It’s about an hour from me, but I’ll definitely be making the trip often. The pulled pork is so moist and just sitting in its own juices. It’s hard to describe the flavor, I’ve never had pulled pork so tender. I got the frito pie with the brisket queso which was also to die for. The macaroni and cheese, cornbread, and beer were also great. Hiiiiighly recommend coming here!

THE CHEF

It is headed by Bravo’s Top Chef Season 13’s Winner, Chef Jeremy Ford. When the show was filmed, he was Jean-Georges Vongerichten's right-hand man at the Matador Room in Miami Beach. A Florida native, the 32-year-old chef also studied under Ludo Lefebvre in Los Angeles. He has been devoted to cooking since he met his maternal grandmother at the age of 14.
