Terms of service

What Out.Miami is, what we promise and what we do not, how accounts and reviews work, and where the information on this site comes from.

Last updated 10 September 2026.

Using this site

Out.Miami is a guide to restaurants, bars, clubs and things to do in Miami. Reading it costs nothing and requires no account. Creating an account, or writing a review, means accepting these terms.

We are a guide, not a booking service. We take no reservations, sell nothing on behalf of the places listed, and are not a party to anything you arrange with them.

Accuracy

Kitchens close, hours change and businesses move. We refresh listings regularly, but we cannot promise that everything here is correct at the moment you read it. Check with the venue before travelling for it, and tell us when something is wrong so we can put it right.

A place appearing on this site is not a recommendation unless we say so in our own words, and is not a statement that it is open, licensed, safe or suitable for you.

Accounts

  • You must be 16 or over to create an account, and 21 or over to review a venue that serves alcohol.
  • Use a name you are willing to be seen under. One account per person.
  • Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has it.
  • We may suspend or close an account that is used to abuse people, to advertise, or to post reviews that are not honest first-hand experience.

Reviews and anything else you write

What you write stays yours. By posting it you give us permission to publish it on this site, to show it on your profile and on the page of the place it is about, and to quote it in our own guides with your username attached. That permission lasts as long as the review is up; ask us to remove it and it goes.

Every review is read before it is published. We will decline or remove one that:

  • is about a place you have not been to;
  • was written for or paid for by a business, its staff, or a competitor;
  • names or targets an individual member of staff;
  • is abusive, hateful, threatening, or discloses private information;
  • makes a claim of illegality, contamination or harm that we cannot verify;
  • is copied from somewhere else.

Reviews are the opinion of the person who wrote them and not of Out.Miami. We do not check them for truth, and publishing one is not an endorsement of it.

If you own or work for a place listed here, do not review it and do not ask anyone to review it on your behalf. Get in touch instead.

Where the information comes from

Three sources sit behind this site, and each is credited on the page where it appears so you always know what you are reading.

Google

Place details and photos come from Google. Addresses, telephone numbers, websites, opening hours, price ranges, star ratings, review counts, review extracts and business descriptions are supplied by the Google Places API. They remain the property of Google and of the businesses and reviewers who provided them, and are shown here under Google’s terms.

We keep that information no longer than Google permits and refresh it on a regular cycle so what you see is current. The place identifier is the only part kept indefinitely. Photographs are never stored: each one is fetched from Google when you view it, and credited to the photographer wherever Google supplies a name.

Google star ratings are Google’s. They are not our view of a place. We do not adjust them, weight them, or average them with anything of our own.

The MICHELIN Guide

MICHELIN Stars, Bib Gourmand and MICHELIN Selected badges identify restaurants recognised by the MICHELIN Guide. Those awards are MICHELIN’s and appear here for reference. Out.Miami is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to MICHELIN, and no award shown here is granted by us.

Out.Miami

Our guides, write-ups, recommendations, photography, illustration, pixel artwork and the design of this site are our own and are protected by copyright. Quote us with a link; do not republish a guide whole.

The venues listed are independent businesses. Listing one is not a commercial relationship. Where a page does carry one, it says so on the page.

Links to other sites

We link out to venues, to Google Maps, to YouTube and to our own other businesses. What happens on those sites is governed by their terms, not ours.

Liability

This site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from relying on a listing, from a visit to a place found here, or from anything published by another reader. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed; carrying on using the site after that means accepting the new version.

Getting in touch

Corrections, complaints, takedown requests and anything else: use the contact page. We answer.

Who you are dealing with

Out.Miami is operated by Feeling Yachty S.A., a company incorporated in the Republic of Panama. Feeling Yachty S.A. also operates Feeling Yachty, Yachty Guide and OutMktg, which is why those appear in the footer and why links between them are treated differently from links to anywhere else.

The guide covers Miami. The company that publishes it does not sit there, and nothing on this site is an offer made from, or a service delivered in, the state of Florida.

Which law applies, and where a dispute is heard

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms or out of your use of this site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Panama City, Republic of Panama, and you agree to bring any claim there.

  • A claim must be brought within one year of the thing it is about, unless the law where it is heard says otherwise.
  • If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands.
  • Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
