First time at Garciaās meeting a friend for dinner in Miami. He suggested Garciaās and Iām glad we were able to walk in and find a table in the crowded restaurant. If youāre a seafood lover you would love it here. Thereās almost too many items on the menu to decide from. Itās a very homely but eclectic space with many seating areas thatās not visible from the outside. There is a great view of the water if youāre lucky to get a table in one of the prime positions. We ordered oysters and stone crab to start and these were just enough to share and quite delicious.
Came here for my fatherās birthday in October and we were absolutely blown away!!! Freshest seafood, good prices, and the staff is SO HELPFUL. I highly highly recommend the stone crab claws and the butterflied snapper. Definitely a place we will continue to return while visiting Miami. I always recommend looking for local treasures rather than tourist-centered restaurants. They may be a bit further from the city-centre but ALWAYS better food.
Absolutely wonderful place for great seafood ? service and more! 65 years of greatness says it all! Keep up the great customer service and hospitality for many years to come! Karen, our server and the host were fabulous ? Thank YOU for making our honeymoon memorable. Kimmy-Sue tested and APPROVED ?
Pretty relaxed restaurant in a seafood destination zone in Miami. Has good water views and on site market. Prices were on the high side for the quality of food. Overall, worth the visit.
When I visited, the Miami Police boat docked right at this place and the officers got out right on off the water directly into their tables, kind of interesting to see.

Best meal of our trip to Miami.
Started with the Seared Scallops-excellent, main courses consisted of Grilled Seafood small size-never had Octopus before, very good, in fact all of the grilled seafood was great! Second meal ordered was the Seafood Creole with White Rice and Caesar Salad-all perfect. The creole sauce on the Rice was excellent. Third meal was the Butterfly Snapper-Lobster Ravioli that came with was excellent, all of it was delicious. This was our second time here and will come again whenever in town.

ACERCA DE
Down by the river, tucked behind a maze of downtown freeways and bridges, this seafood shack is a hidden gem. From the nautical interior and rustic waterfront deck to the fishing boats that chug by, this place oozes character. Conch fritters, gorgeous ceviche and Florida stone crab are warm-ups for the entrƩes: juicy grilled jumbo shrimp, say, or grilled yellowtail, grouper or lobster, served alongside buttery parsley potatoes, green plantains, Caesar salads or fries. The Key lime pie is one of the best in town. Tricky to find, but worth the effort.
